Thanks to both of you for the excellent interview.  There was a lot of helpful information.  Hearing from someone who has actually experienced this is particularly valuable.

Step outside your creation of REALITY

Everybody talks about the elites, that is where the money is. Does humanity keep pandering to this economic structure?

For Example, one wall street trader earned 7 billion dollars last year and paid no income tax, the same trader made 6 billion the year before...

Crime

The worst effect of hyperinflation is the break down of the culture and of the society.  As Fernando described, crimes are at unprecedented levels in Argentina.  However, it enjoyed very low crime before the crisis, even though it had experienced high inflation before...

Hi, this talk is a remarkable piece in the puzzle when realizing the "Endgame" is unfolding. I don't want to live in such a place that the world is heading to become. We are no barbarians. Keep the Dark Age for the shakers, banksters,  brokers, oligarchs and generals...

IMO, this is huge, from *Enroll to see Link* (see also *Enroll to see Link* and *Enroll to see Link* ):

The headlines from Chicago these days are about “flash mobs” — dozens of young thugs attacking people and cleaning out stores in broad daylight…

15 people storm a couple of city buses, making off with the passengers’ mobile phones and iPods More than 20 young men attack a guy parking his scooter near the downtown campus of Northwestern University...

Interesting connection

Augustine

I'd read about a few swarming incidents lately and found this ominous.  But I didn't realize this activity had become common in South America.  Thanks for pointing that out.  It is worrisome.

Home invasions
Does anyone have any hard data on home invasions? I did a quick search on Google and came up with a few (in the US) but nothing like the brutal type described by FerFAL. I don't necessarily doubt him. I just wonder what types of situations would be more likely to suffer a home invasion: apartment in the city (probably not); single family home in the city, in a small town; a house on 1 acre with visible neighbors; a large parcel out of sight of neighbors (probably more likely)...

home invasions

In our local experience, home invasions seem to occur solely in the city to elderly residents.  Purely a case of predators and the defenseless.  That demographic would likely expand considerably under an Argentina type scenario.

BTW, welcome to the site...
