Swimming Pool

I know that swimming pools have been discussed already but does anyone know if you can put a particular plant or fish into an unpowered pool to make the PH levels more natural.

I filled in my pool.  They make a great small orchard and garden.  I have some broccoli growing now and will have squash and such around the trees this summer.

Apparently you can farm Tilapia quite easily.

Azolla

I found the ultimate answer.  Turn off the pump, convert your pool to freshwater by leaving it for a while with heavy rain, then put in some Azolla (also called Mosquito fern or Fairy Moss).  Azolla floats.  It is the best way to naturally get fertiliser for your soils.  It grows rapidly so just snip a bit off every now and then and put in on your garden.
