Logarithmic Chart

We have been discussing portions of Dr. Martenson’s Crash Course and a question was brought up as to why Dr. Martenson doesn’t use a logarithmic chart for the money supply numbers and debt numbers.  Some in my office are arguing that using a logarithmic chart is a better way of viewing the numbers, and that they would appear less ominous.  I wasn’t sure how to respond.  Any comments would be very helpful.  I suppose he has a reason.   Thanks, Zack Davis
