Little lifeboat just north of Havre, Montana. The little bakery that could.

We're Canadian Doomers who just bought the only remaining old-fashioned (not factory food) bakery in Medicine Hat, Alberta.  We're known as the 'gas city' because of the huge natural gas reserves that power our streetlights and heat our homes.  Won't go cold here.

We just bought a bakery as our main livelihood/investment:  cash business, all our inputs are available locally, and people gotta eat, right? Local gas fires the oven.  We'd love to meet similarly minded people who might be interested in helping us develop our business (our background is business - we both have MBAs).  Unfortunately, have to be able to work in Canada.    Here, the economy is still relatively strong, so most people are in denial about the future, and are still driving huge pickup trucks to their jobs up north in the oilsands.

If this is you, PM me here.
