How will you deal [later] with people in your life who [now] refuse to listen?
Full moon, do you need a roomate? :)
Morte alla tyrannus et dei
Formally Zombie210Ha Ha ED, The kids would drive you crazy . But I was so very excited that so many were opening their eyes . and you know it is just handy if you are out somewhere and find a good deal , you can call the bank and they will put money in your account so you can buy something and they trust you to come in later and sign the loan paper or pay the money back .
I have lived in other countries and cities too but drawn back here when I felt something wrong 15 years ago . I do think freinds and neighbors are a good asset . You know where everybody knows your name .

I went into town today to put some money in the bank and do some errands . I asked for most of our money in cash , I said I Know it seem weird but the banker said no problem he does the same thing . Our bank has had the same family run it for close to a hundred years . Not sure how many people keep money in it but the banker was not worrying any . I did see they are on the A list for banks. We probably just do not know what to expect .
Everybody knows each other in a town of 1000 and when I got around to the grocery store and gas station everyone was talking about how much worse it could get and how they were getting ready. Not such a stretch here because we are back to the basic . We have weeks without electricity in ice storms . All the young people have relatives and will check on the elderly neighbors that have no one. There are a few new families moved in from the coasts and I do not know their readiness but my guess is they sold and bought small here . I am thinking that even a farmer or two would donate a couple cows to save the hungry . Lets see one cow and 3 pigs feeds10 people for at least a year divided by a lot of farmers sounds doable . No one should starve or freeze . I am very sure everyone will pitch in I have seen it time and time again when people have unexpected expenses like medical bills or a house fire .
There used to be food storage in the local mine that was in the 60's Bet someone should check on that.
Everybody has hunting riffles and knows how to use them . We are 60 to 90 miles from a city of 50,000 . It would take some time before any of them walked this far and they would hit the smaller towns before us possibly thinned each other out in the mean time .
Not sure what else we can do .
