How did Chris go about making the Crash Course? What video format was used?

Chris created the Crash Course in his home office using Powerpoint for the slides, Camtasia Pro for the video, and Audacity for the audio. The Crash Course was created one chapter at a time during the period from March 2008 to October 2008. Additional sections were produced by Rawn Fulton at Searchlight Films for the Special Edition DVD in March 2009.
