What happened to The End of Money documentary project?
I conceived the idea for a documentary long before I created this website, but over time my work has evolved in a slightly different direction than I first anticipated.
My priorities may have shifted somewhat, but my message has not. Economic change is occurring at such a rapid rate right now that I feel my energy is best focused on making continued up-to-the-minute research and analysis available, both to the public on my blog, and to enrolled members in more frequent, in-depth Martenson Reports, Martenson Insider posts, and in our discussion forums.
In addition, production of the Crash Course online video series has consumed more time and resources than expected, and making The Crash Course available for free online has continued to remain a very high priority. I have recently finished the final chapter of The Crash Course and we are in the final stages of turning the entire series into a DVD that can be ordered or downloaded. I want to make this information as widely available as possible.
I am happy to report that others have taken up the torch and produced IOUSA: The Movie. I am thrilled to see this topic getting more significant media coverage. I plan to see this movie when it comes out, and I hope you will, too.
To those of you who donated funds with a documentary in mind, please rest assured that the research that went into the early stages of planning the documentary has been incorporated into the Crash Course and other offerings on this site. I am committed to the goal of getting the information out to as broad an audience as possible, no matter what form it eventually takes. Your support has helped to further this goal.
As always, if you have innovative ideas about how to get my message out to even more people, I would like to hear about it. I appreciate your suggestions and support, and I look forward to finding ways that we can work together to spread the word.
Your faithful information scout,
Chris Martenson
