Chris is busy gearing up for his talk tonight at the Commonwealth Club, so we wanted to take a moment to remind our greater Bay Area readers of Chris's public talk on Thursday, January 28th at 6:30PM the Sonora Opera Hall in Sonora, CA. Chris will present a live, fully interactive version of the Crash Course, incorporating relevant recent news and economic developments. He will speak to the power of communities, crafting a vision of how to replace our broken economic model with richer, adaptive relationships among neighbors.
This event has been organized and sponsored by Cooper Kessel and Robert Gelman, sustainable business practitioners in the Calaveras/Toulumne County areas, and members of FoCuS (Foothill Collaborative for Sustainability). Proceeds will benefit FoCuS. Coop will give a brief presentation following the talk on the pioneering work that FoCuS is doing to develop the region into a strong, transition-ready community, and discuss how you can be a part of it.
The talk in Sonora represents a major opportunity for Bay Area readers to engage with Chris in a meaningful forum. Tickets are available online here through Wednesday afternoon. Tickets will be available at the door Thursday night, but we wanted to remind readers that Chris's Commonwealth talk sold out extremely quickly, and to encourage you to secure your seat today to avoid missing out on this exciting West Coast event.
Hope to see you there!

Hi Tom,
Bob mentioned today that he was looking into the possibility but our bandwidth is a problem. We will have it video taped and hopefully can release it on DVD sometime in spring. I expect that Chris would let everyone know and make it available via this site.

Mr. Fri,
Other than Chris you may be the one traveling the farthest. I may ask you to stand up and take a bow ..... be careful!!
Coop
My drive was only 3 1/2 hours each way.
Very impressive on the Q & A.
Hey Saxplayer and others who attended Chris's Sonora event-
We'd love to hear more about it!! It sounds like it may have been pretty interactive/dynamic?
