I want to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to Davos, our MVP blogger. I am more than a little melancholy to announce that Davos will soon depart from his role of scouring the depths of the Internet to bring us the Daily Digest we’ve all grown addicted to over the past year.
Davos has provided an intensely valuable resource to all of us here on the site, and his humor and refreshing perspective have added a much-needed dose of laughter to our daily practice of solemnly shaking our heads at mainstream media and the powers that be.
I know from personal experience that what he's been doing is a full time job and one that requires an extraordinary amount of energy and perseverence. Sometimes we don't fully treasure those gifts until they are gone.
Freed up from the daily grind, Davos will delve deeper into his own personal journey of preparation and prosperity. You can read more about his plans below. We will all miss the sizzling tips and careful sleuthing Davos offers us, but we wish him all the best as he shakes free of the pixel world and heads off very much into the real world with his vision.
Thank you, Davos!!
With that said, I want to announce that we will now open up the Daily Digest to a wider perspective. Davos would not have been able to do what he does without the many helpful links that readers provide on a daily basis. We’d now like to take your help and voices to the next level, and turn the Daily Digest into a community wide Daily Digest, where everyone can share data, tips and links.
We have set up a new email account: dd@chrismartenson.com, where you can send the links you want to share, 24/7. When you write us, please include the direct link, as well as the snippet of text you would like posted with it. All links are subject to editorial review, but we hope to turn the Daily Digest into the ideal potluck supper, with a tasty banquet of perspectives and findings to share among the community at large.
Or, if you think you'd like to step up and run the Digest for a day (or more) of the week, drop me a line and we can talk. It represents a chance to reach thousands of readers every day with your unique information discoveries.
Please join me in wishing Davos the best of luck as he heads off onto the next part of his journey. And with that, please join us in making the new Daily Digest the exciting prism it can be.
Write us anytime at dd@chrismartenson.com.
Your (other) faithful information scout,
Chris

Davos-
You will be missed, I looked forward to your daily post. You have been a blessing to me in my journey of sorting out the facts of this crazy financial world. I wish you the best in what ever you may be doing! I hope you will be "popping" in from time to time.
Take care
Mark
I was just thinking about Davos today and how much work it must be to scour the worlds news and find the real gems that seem to sum it up each day. How ironic that you're leaving that post and moving on to better focus on your personal world. I have nothing but gratitude for your presence here at CM and best wishes for your future. I hope the winds of change will be calm for you Davos. Take care.
